Bernard Backenblacker |
 |
| Bernard Backenblacker is the epitome of the take charge young man. Once he arrives at the field and steps onto the pitch, he is a study in straight-up. His smart styling and confident step give him the look of a young Sgt at Arms. He is quick to learn; and not afraid to take on the challenge of officiating the older boys and high schools matches. His firm but fair decision making coupled with his gnarly snarl, help Bernard keep control and allow him to maintain his distance from the players. |

| Bernie works hard for his match fee and he doesn't much like having to keep on paying for new shirts, in some differerent color, or some other silly pattern change, and all this in two sleeve lengths mind you, because of all this crazy weather, Backenblack says "Why can't we all just get a bleepin' black shirt and some black socks and shorts, and get out there and get this thing going." Bernard is a modern throw back to the great classic look of the soccer referee of by-gone eras. Be like Bernard; be "Back in Black"!

| Bernard Backenblacker prefers the all black Uber-stockings because, "those white stripes look wimpy, and don't always match your partner's, and they get all dingy in the wash, and look like crap. So why don't we just wear some all-black support socks like those Arbiters in the Seria A man. Those guys look way cooler than us, becuse it's all about the new linear mono-chromatic look. What's cooler than cool?...UberCool |
